Snow White Rag Doll - doll
This was Frances Coxall's favourite doll. During the Second World War, Frances was evacuated from Thornton Heath to Dorset. Croydon was being bombed, and 20,000 Croydon children were sent away. Just before Frances was evacuated, she had been to the cinema to see the new film 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs'. Her parents sent her this Snow White doll as a present because she was homesick.
